Position: Mechanical Design Engineer Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 Overtime: Available & Optional Location: Southampton Shift: Monday - Friday We are currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our clients dedicated Engineering team in their commitment in providing a high standard of service output for their customers. Mechanical Design Engineer Required Qualifications: 3D CAD Experience Required 3 years experience within a Design Engineering Environment Degree or HND/HNC in a relevant discipline - Mechanical Engineering Mechanical Design Engineer Main Duties: Responsible for producing design and detailed drawings, together with written specifications, to enable manufacture of Company products. Produce accurate design, bill of materials, detailed drawings. Experience on aluminium and iron castings, sheet metal, close tolerance machining. Finite Element Analysis (FEA), stress calculation, bearing system design.
