Overview
Dawson Levy Resourcing are happy to be recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to join a key client of ours who are based in Hampshire. Our client work with a range of commercial and industrial clients in the water treatment industry. THE ROLE Taking responsibility for the health & safety of self and all under your control Minimising impact on & protection of the environment Safe cost-effective delivery of electrical installations in line with company SHEQ policies Managing the completion of site installation work ensuring work is on schedule and within budget, including: Planning the work efficiently in order to meet agreed deadlines Ordering materials and ensuring that the correct materials are on site when required Interpretation of site drawings and project information Liaising with other contractors Monitor and inspect the quality of work on site to ensure work is meets the standards Undertaking and recording statutory inspections of plant and equipment Report all accidents, incidents and near misses Respect the environment, implement control measures where applicable to protect the environment Implement measures to prevent waste production Ensure all waste is handled in line with legislation Requirements THE CANDIDATE Appropriate City & Guilds trade Qualification (or equivelant) Emergency first aid or First Aider Water Industry/Industrial Background Full driving licence
