Our client have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Compliance to join their growing team in London. Job Title: Head of Compliance – Payments Location: London Salary: £100K per annum bonus, share options Do you have experience managing a compliance function within a Payments or Fintech environment? Are you able to build control systems to prevent any regulatory issues? Are you looking for an opportunity to take on a senior role for an innovative payments provider? Our client is a leading VC backed European payments business with a strong presence across Continental Europe and North America. The business is at the cutting edge in payment technology and has won several awards for innovation for their online payment platform. The business has a genuine hunger to capitalise on growth and cement itself as an industry leader. They are looking hire a Head of Compliance that will report into the Chief Risk Officer and will help set up regulatory controls for the UK and European business. This is an important role and will see be the main contact for the FCA. You will be tasked with revising policies and procedures to mitigate any risks within the business. Head of Compliance – Key Responsibilities: - Manage a team of compliance, risk and business analysts - Keep abreast of regulatory developments both in the UK and overseas - Collaborate with key stakeholders to monitor standards and regulations - Manage the AML and onboarding process This an exciting opportunity for a proven Head of Compliance with in-depth knowledge of payment industry standards to take on a senior role for a highly reputable business. You will work closely with the board to build a rigorous industry leading compliance department. The successful candidate will be working as a Head of Compliance in Payments or Financial Services or Fintech. Candidates could also be working as a Chief Compliance Officer, Compliance Manager, Head of Risk, Risk Manager or equivalent type role.
