Overview
Our client are a leading ecommerce company based in central London. They are looking to hire a Business Intelligence Engineer to support the commercial head office teams. You must have a passion for utilising data in a business environment. Responsibilities include: · Analysing and modelling large data sets · Improving business reporting · Using your expert SQL knowledge to deliver training to other teams · Provide analytical support for the evaluation of business proposals · Support business teams with ad-hoc data requests and projects · Participating in cross-functional projects The ideal candidate will have: · Degree from a leading university in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics · Strong ability to write complex database queries using SQL · Business intelligence experience · Experience with Machine Learning, R and Python · Experience with BI tools in a business environment · Knowledge of data mining, database query construction, data warehousing & regression modelling · Experience training others in technical skills such as writing SQL queries · Proven analysis and problem-solving skills · Excellent communication skills This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89841834
