Overview
Mechanical Design Engineer: Our client, a well established designer and builder of Special Purpose Machinery, are looking to appoint an additional Mechanical Design Engineer. You will have a mechanical engineering background with appropriate qualifications, have excellent problem solving skills, coupled with a proven track record of designing special purpose machinery. Experience of Inventor 3D and AutoCAD 2D would be advantageous although candidates with experience of other 3D packages with the appropriate background will definitely be considered. As Mechanical Design Engineer you will work from an initial customer brief and be responsible for designing and specifying all mechanical components and systems for special purpose machinery and will work closely with the electrical department to ensure viable interfacing of systems. Travel to customer premises may be required and some of this Mechanical Design Engineer role is largely office based in West Yorkshire.
