Overview
Security Engineer required by our client, an independent Security company who provide personalised and tailored security solutions for a range of commercial and domestic clients across Stockport and surrounding areas. Due to the continued success our client is looking to expand and as such an opening for a Security Engineer has arisen to join the engineering team. The Security Engineer will be required to carry out the install and commissioning of Security Systems which include CCTV, Intruder Alarms and Access Control Systems and making sure all work completed adheres to the relevant British Standards ensuring compliance and best practice at all times. Security Engineer Position Overview Working as part of the engineering team and reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for the install and commissioning of CCTV / Door entry/ Alarm systems across a range of commercial, domestic and government sites. Work will be carried out across Manchester predominantly, however some work will be undertaken in other areas of the North West. Some systems the successful applicant will be working on are: Texecom, Paxton, Dahua & Hikvision. Security Engineer Position Requirements Strong work ethic and the ability to work well within a team, as well as self-motivation, and the ability to work alone. 2 - 3 years' industry experience. Experience working on Intruder and one of the following 3 disciplines: Fire, CCTV or Access. Full UK driving licence Security Engineer Position Remuneration Salary £24k - £29k Company Van (Personal use ALLOWED) 40 Hour Working week (09:00 - 17:00) 20 days' annual leave Bank Holidays On call 1 in 8 (Door to door when on call) Travel paid less 1 hour each way.
