Bioinformatics Developer Location: Cambridge Salary: Competitive A leading clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing a deep pipeline of novel antibody-based therapies in a broad range of indications are looking for a Bioinformatics Developer to join their team. The Company generates its product candidates using its proprietary, integrated bespoke platforms. You will have a leading role in the development of their bespoke software platform for antibody repertoire analysis, and lead candidate selection. You will work with Scientists, Research Bioinformaticians, and Software Developers to identify and work on improvements to the platform. You will have a key role in fundamentally improving the antibody discovery process and bringing effective therapeutics to patients faster. Key Responsibilities: • Developing and refining antibody NGS data processing pipelines • Developing and refining in-silico methods for analysing antibody sequence data • Gathering customer feedback, and implementing software usability improvements • Presenting work at internal and external company meetings Key Requirements: Essential: • PhD or equivalent experience in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or similar discipline • Proficiency in the use of Python • Proficiency in the use of Linux • Proficiency in the use of relational databases • Some Dev-ops experience (eg, git, Jenkins, docker, AWS) • Ability to contribute independently and collaboratively and to excel in a fast-paced environment Preferred • Experience with antibody repertoire sequence analysis and antibody discovery • Experience with software development using scrum • Experience with the Genedata Biologics LIMS system • Proficiency in the use of KNIME • Proficiency in the use of Java Please apply now for further information about this opportunity or email your CV to This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89840126
