Your new firm Join this Top 10 firm of Chartered Accountants in their leading audit department as a newly qualified accountant. Due to continued business wins and internal promotions the firm are looking to appoint an Audit Assistant Manager to join their Manchester office. Your new role As an Audit Assistant Manager you will be responsible for managing the on site delivery of audit assignments, liaising between both the audit team and the client. Day to day duties will include taking responsibility for planning, executing and finalising all areas of the audit assignment for partner / manager review, work with the partners to discuss key risk areas and ensure any issues are resolved and oversee the on site audit team. As an Assistant Manager you will have your own small portfolio which will develop over time as you progress towards Audit Manager. What you'll need to succeed The firm are seeking a bright and ambitious ACA / ACCA qualified accountant who has a proven track record of leading audit assignments through to completion. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate a broad client base and be competent auditing in accordance with FRS 102 & IFRS. The firm will consider applicants who have trained either within the Top 10 or within independent firms however you must be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and good commercial acumen.
