Overview
Eden Brown is working with Frontline AIDS in Brighton on their Head of Institutional Funding & Partnerships vacancy - this is a fixed term contract for up to 12 months to cover maternity leave. The Head of Institutional Funding & Partnerships is responsible for generating a portfolio of income totalling over US $10M in in 2020, comprising bilateral and multilateral government funding for Frontline AIDS. You will provide leadership and direction to the institutional funding and partnerships function, in a period of transition, manage and mentor performance, and develop talent, within the team (12 employees with 4 direct reports) and demonstrate a strong commitment to working in a matrixed, networked organisation. We are looking for someone with: - Knowledge of the global HIV funding landscape (and the changes that are underway), and specific first-hand knowledge of the major institutional donors including DFID, USAID, Global Fund, Netherlands, Sweden, Canada, Ireland, Germany - Sound understanding of the international donor environment and of HIV/AIDS and SRHR and human rights programming globally - A proven track record of successfully securing and managing large and complex grants from government donors Eden Brown is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.
