Overview
Care Assistant - Days South Cave, East Riding of Yorkshire £8.72 per hour Permanent / Full Time - 42 hours per week (7am to 7pm) DMD Recruitment are working in partnership with a reputable care provider to recruit an experienced Care Assistant for their purpose-built care home in South Cave. The care home is registered to provide 24 hour care and support to older people with residential and dementia care needs. The successful candidate will become an integral part of the team in supporting and assisting residents with daily living activities and ensuring they live a full and enriched life. Duties will include, however not limited to: Providing support with all aspects of daily living activities (washing, dressing etc) Providing emotional, physical and spiritual support to residents Promoting dignity and independence Observing care plans and completing daily records as instructed Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team Building positive and caring relationships with residents and their families Supporting and encouraging residents to continue with hobbies and personal interests For this service, we are searching for a caring and passionate individual who has current experience working as a Care Assistant, ideally within a nursing or residential care home that provides care to older people.
