Assistant Accountant - £25,000 - £30,000 - Reading, Berkshire FryerMiles are currently supporting a well-known Professional services business based in Reading on the recruitment of a Assistant Accountant. In this role you will report into the Financial Accountant, supporting the delivery of accurate and timely accounting for your business unit. This is an exciting time to join the business as they are seeing impressive growth coupled with investment in staff development. This is a great opportunity for someone to join a fast paced company and will give the successful candidate exposure to all levels of the business. Key responsibilities include: Assist the Financial Accountant to ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are completed Support the annual Group and Statutory audit and preparation process under US GAAP and IFRS Assist the Financial Accountant to ensure all costs are accounted for and allocated correctly, ensuring financial integrity Develop and maintain knowledge of the operations Working with the wider Finance team on monthly variance analysis To be considered for this role, you will have previous experience within a Financial accounting team and be an ACCA/CIMA/AAT studier with the desire to learn and progress. Advanced Excel Skills SAP experience would be helpful. An ability to work with a high level of accuracy and meet strict deadlines.
