Overview
Consultant Psychiatrist in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Part time 5 PAs per week (20 Hours per week) £82,669 - £109,849 per annum pro rata This NHS Trust is expanding CAMHS in the area to include local provision and the development of a new Tier 4/At Risk community-based service. There is an opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to contribute to these developing services which will form two new branches of the existing CAMHS team. The services will replicate the multi-disciplinary team model in place across the region and will include Psychological and Specialist Medical support alongside Primary Mental Health staff and Clinicians at Band 6 and 7. A particular interest/experience in working with children and young people experiencing eating disorders or who are looked-after would be desirable. The successful candidate must be on the General Medical Council Specialist Register with a Licence to Practice or within 6 months of obtaining CCT at time of interview.
