Overview
Senior Credit Controller Salary: £25,000 - 28,000 plus 5% payable bonus Job Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Accounts Receivable team, you will be responsible for Accounts Receivable and Credit Control activities. Extensive credit control experience is required. Key Responsibilities: - includes but not limited to You will be responsible for maintaining the Accounts Receivable ledger in a timely manner offsetting credits with related invoices and keeping the accounts up to date. Responsible for timely cash collections and ensuring bad debt is kept to a minimum. Monitoring credit limits. Partnering with internal departments daily to ensure there are no credit holds due to overdue balances. Raising credit requests for deductions made on key accounts and process these accordingly. Building key relationships with customers including the occasional client visit. Accounting for customer deductions and arranging for credit notes to be raised in a timely manner. Performing credit checks, credit limit reviews and aged debt analysis on a daily basis. Other ad-hoc financial reporting duties as required. Skills / Qualifications: Extensive previous credit control experience is required. Strong Microsoft Office skills in particular Excel. Experience of using mainstream finance systems.
