Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team. We are a national, award-winning provider of rehabilitation solutions for individuals who have incurred personal injury or absence from work. Operations Manager Location : Preferably Hamilton (office based), but other locations considered. National travel is required. About You: We are ideally looking for a HCPC/NMC registered practitioner (occupational therapist, physiotherapist, nurse etc) with a background in case management, vocational rehabilitation and proven experience of managing a team of clinicians. Experienced operations managers without a clinical qualification, but with relevant industry knowledge and experience of managing a clinical team will also be considered. You will need to be logical, highly organised, innovative and flexible and have excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. You will need to be able to work independently and as part of a wider team and align with our company values. The Role: This is a senior leadership role, reporting to the Commercial Director. The successful candidate will manage our national team of clinical team leads - who in turn manage our rehabilitation case managers. The role also involves managing our minor injury and vocational teams. The Operations Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our clinical and vocational services, driving performance and productivity. Working closely with the Technical Operations Manager, they will ensure effective communication and adherence to company ways of working in order to achieve excellent outcomes for our customers and clients. Responsibilities will include: General support and coaching of team members, including workload management Performance management activities, including monthly reviews and annual appraisals Clinical case reviews, supervision and audit Overseeing team adherence to financial targets and service KPIs Support with case allocation and customer enquiries Monitoring and reporting on the quality of overall service provision, including audit Proactive complaints handling and implementation of continuous improvement cycle Communication of team status and performance statistics to the management team Attendance at customer review meetings, where required Maintenance of own skills to keep up to date with clinical developments and best practice The role is predominantly based at the Hamilton office, but some home working is permitted. Regular national travel is required in order to meet with team members and attend company events.
