Overview
I am happy to be working with a world renowned organisation, based in Guildford, Surrey, whose UK operation has continued to grow naturally and through acquisition. As a result of this growth they are looking to add some new personnel to their already established Collections team. This organisation believes in building and developing their staff, providing a great environment to achieve career goals, the Collections team is no different, and this this role reports directly to the Collections Manager. The Duties: As a Credit Controller you will support the Commercial Divisions, working closely with your colleagues and external customers to build strong relationships and enable the business to meet its objectives. Their market is constantly changing and there is a need to be able to find new and better ways of doing things - Therefore you will be expected to look for opportunity to improve and streamline your activities The Candidate: Qualified to GCSE standard or equivalent (including Maths and English at Grade C or above) 1 - 2 years previous credit control experience essential. Able to deliver high quality work under pressure and within required timescales. Able to deal with internal and external customers at all levels, in person and communicate using different media. You will be influential and friendly with strong negotiation skills. Intermediate excel skills preferred for this role due to the amount of data we review. Team Player who is able to work on your own initiative. Good time management and prioritisation skills. Excellent organisational skills Accuracy, attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
