Overview
The North locality community team situated 7 Newington Barrow Way, Finsbury Park is a fast pace office offering varied work with Adults. Work coming into this team consists of Care Act Assessments, Reviews/Re-assessments, Safeguarding, No Recourse to Public Funds, Court Work, Alcoholic and Drug Abuse to name but a few. The successful candidate will need to be able to care co-ordinate a small complex case load whilst directly supervising 4-5 staff members in their team (social workers/case managers). You will also be responsible for allocating cases on a weekly basis, management of your supervisees performance, rotated on a weekly basis to work on Intake ( a form of duty) ensuring that service users are screened daily to ensure Risk is managed effectively. As a senior you will need to demonstrate multi-disciplinary working, be able to share Knowledge and skills and build relationships and network with colleagues, other teams and external partners. You will also need to ensure all staff are aware of risk assessment policy and that robust assessments risk or otherwise are completed from a strength base perspective as appropriate and recorded on LAS. Monthly supervision will be undertaken and you will be responsible for such with your supervisees.
