Overview
SEN Teacher - Independent Boys Junior School Start Date: September 2020 Timetable: Full Time Contract: Permanent Connaught Education are currently supporting a leading co-educational Independent Day School in the heart of London, on the appointment of an SEN Teacher to join their SEN Department from September 2020. At their last inspection, our client was rated 'Outstanding' by OFSTED, and has a long-standing history of providing children with a broad curriculum and academic excellence. The school is co-educational, and provides education from Nursery through to the 11/13 stages, with many of its leavers going onto top Independent Senior Schools. The SEN Teacher will work closely alongside the SENDCo and the Headteacher to ensure that pupils within the SEN department are best supported. The successful SEN Teacher will be required to work on both a 1:1 and group basis, providing specialist, and specially tailored support to those pupils within their care. The successful SEN Teacher will ideally have experience working within an SEN department, and must have experience supporting a wide-range of special educational needs. The SEN Teacher must be educated to degree level, with professional SEN related qualifications desirable. The salary range is on the school's own scale, which is considerably above the national average, and is dependent on skillset, qualifications and experience.
