Business Analyst (Claims) - Lloyd's Insurance Market - City Business Analyst (Claims) Lloyd's Insurance Market City, London Permanent £50,000- £60,000 per annum fantastic benefits bonus Business Analyst - Claims - Operations - Process - Insurance - London Insurance Market A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Analyst with previous Insurance/ London Insurance Market experience to join a major Specialist Insurer and work closely with the Head of Claims Operations to elicit and interpret the needs of the business, from a claim's perspective, and convert these into efficient and effective business solutions. This is a challenging role within a successful, progressive and innovative organisation where you will have an opportunity to fulfil your potential and progress your career further. Key responsibilities: Evaluate business processes, perform requirements analysis, uncover areas for improvement / optimisation and design and implement solutions. Prioritise projects and initiatives based on business requirements and manage any competing priorities or resources. Develop project plans and monitor performance / progress against key milestones and deliverables to ensure projects are completed against requirements and on time. Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations by regularly communicating findings, insights, plans and progress with attention to transparent communication at all levels. Ensure projects and initiatives can be measured on value delivered and report these results to management and stakeholders. Required skills/ experience: Must have experience working on large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business. Knowledge and experience of Lloyd's Market Claims environment preferred. Ability to work autonomously and a strong team player who can demonstrate leadership to deliver results. Strong process re-engineering / improvement skills and ability to deliver high standard process documentation essential. Analytical mind set and an ability to assimilate, combine a correlate multiple stakeholder perspective in defining business requirements. Strong skills in designing reports and working with data. Strong problem solving skills and commercial awareness, demonstrating an ability to identify wider possibilities of situations and align to strategic objectives.
