Kivnon researches, develops, designs, manufactures and distributes Auto Guide Vehicles (AGV's) and systems in order to improve the productivity of internal logistics of its customers. You will join a Projects Team in Coventry. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will contribute to delivery automation projects to the company's key accounts. The role will be based at the site office but will require frequent travels to customer sites to work on the commissioning and service. Main Functions: Realize the circuit design relating to our self-guided vehicles (AGV's) Configuration of AGV's circuit Ability to work with and modify PLC code ideally in the Siemens S7/TIA environment and development of HMI and SCADA software Test requirement in assembly shop and on customer sites as required. Carry out the wiring and electrical connection on customers site Perform testing with customers Carry out on-site commissioning. Resolve any failure relating to the AGV's Advise the client and oversee the client's facilities. Skill Requirements Ideally, a qualification of HNC/HND/ Degree in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering Technical training in automation and industrial robotics Previous experience is not required but some experience in Engineering field would be beneficial Full UK driving licence. Availability to travel. Be an analytical, proactive and organized person Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
