I am currently working in partnership with a company renowned for their work internationally and who have been selected as the best place to work in Europe, twice. With multiple offices throughout major cities across Europe, we are looking to continue growing their presence in London and bring a host of talented individuals on board in the next few months. For this role we are looking for a full stack developer with a broad knowledge of tools, frameworks and technologies, who is keen to work in a multi-disciplinary environment. The team are tasked with developing complex, multi-layered services, using prototypes to validate proposals and championing discussion as a means of finding the best languages and processes to apply. This is not just a role to fill, we are looking for someone who is genuinely passionate and wants to have a real influence on how projects run and how their contributions will impact the industry they love. To be considered you will need to be able to display knowledge of the following: A passion for software Several years of professional experience in software development, preferably in and around web and mobile – more exotic experiences are a bonus Architecture level understanding of software design Proven ability in implementing complex, multi-layered services with high quality front and backend code e.g. using JavaScript, Node, Scala, Java, Clojure… Open source reputation Strong expertise in Agile software development and methods (Scrum, Kanban) Desire and skills to coach and mentor other developers This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89739749
