An excellent opportunity has arisen for a junior corporate tax solicitor to join a well-established, national firm in Manchester city centre. Our client is a commercially focused firm who have gained a well-earned, revered reputation offering a variety of outstanding legal advice to businesses and individuals across the UK. This multi-sectorial firm boast a large expert team, with vast knowledge of all sectors of business and law. Their leading Corporate Tax solicitor team advise an extensive client base including banks, companies, individuals and charities. Our client offers a fantastic share scheme within their company and excellent progression opportunity for their employees. This role would be ideal for a junior corporate tax solicitor with 0 to 4 years post qualifying experience, looking to progress their career with a top UK firm. As an applicant, you will be eager to learn and obtain invaluable experience in all areas of personal taxes, corporate tax, real estate tax and share schemes. You should be enthusiastic to work within a fast-paced corporate environment, showing a passion for your role. Excellent communication skills are a must as you will be working as part of dynamic, hardworking team. You will be handling complex matters such as, but not limited to: Offering advice to clients of the tax structure of sales, shares and acquisitions Negotiating tax provisions in a variety of banking and acquisition matters and drafting the documentation Offering legal advice on private equity investments Negotiating tax provisions in transactions involving property investment and advising on capital allowances Advising on corporate tax matters of urban renewal, building projects and property development Drafting and structuring a range of share option arrangements for clients If you feel like you have the skills for this position and would like to apply for this role then contact Amy Haycocks at Sacco Mann or another member of the Private Practice Team.
