Overview
BD Executive Perm City of London £38K We are looking for a Business Development Executive to join a modern international law firm in Central London. Here you will join a supportive team with the firm very focused on developing the BD team’s technical skills. The Business Development Executive will provide business development input and support at the senior level to help the Group Heads and the fee earners as a collective, move the business to the next level internationally. You will also work closely with the CRM and other BD teams to share ideas, opportunities, campaigns & projects. This will include: Create and convert opportunities for business. Target client base -including helping partners on specific clients using CRM practice Project manage the implementation of thought leadership campaigns Interact with clients- as part of a pitch process and/or part of a targeting initiative Legal league tables - drafting of submissions for awards and legal directories Running matter capture systems and analysing data Manage client mailing lists and contact data Maintaining the library of pitch and marketing documents Monitoring expenditure of the budget Requirements include: Previous experience working within a BD or marketing role in a professional services environment. Experience in a law firm would be ideal. Strong written and oral communication skills, along with good attention to detail. Able to undertake basic drafting and editing of copy for proposals, pitch documents and marketing material, including creating headlines and messages to provide impact and clarity. Strong influencing skills. Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal skills, gravitas, and be able to form strong working relationships across all areas of the practice. Candidates must be pro-active, entrepreneurial and able to work within a team environment. Willing and able to undertake a range of work/projects. Comfortable and able to work to tight deadlines.
