Our client, a global leading telecommunication company, is recruiting for a Project Quality Manager to join their telecom project in the United Kingdom. Position Title Project Quality Manager Position Type Contract/Employment Start Date April 2020 Duration 3 months rolling/12 months rolling Location Reading, UK Contact: Dorotea Kust | 49 89 23 88 98 673 Responsibilities: Ensuring contractual and our client quality requirements are understood and met. Documenting quality requirements, implementation and reporting in the quality plan and agree as necessary with the customer and sub-contractors. Communicating, implementing and promoting the quality plan. Reporting on project quality performance and ensuring all key issues are addressed with agreed solutions. Undertaking continual improvement activities and lessons learnt to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the programme. Organizing training, demonstration, validation and other activities to unify the understanding of the three parties (customers, client and sub-contractors) in the requirements and objectives of the project. Through routine meetings, strengthen interactions with the customer and sub-contractors in respect to quality performance. This may involve occasional travel within the UK. Overseeing project internal and sub-contractor quality performance evaluation, regularly output quality performance evaluation reports. Create project forecasts and budgets for quality implementation. Support the client’s QEHS team in developing capability and competence. Qualifications: Experience of managing quality in a high volume telecoms network deployment project. Management experience (training/qualification preferred) in ISO 9001. Widespread experience (training/qualification preferred) in utilizing various quality tools such as process mapping, RCA, Six Sigma, risk assessment and risk management. Experience in TL9000 procedures. ISO9001 Auditor. IOSH Managing Safety or equivalent. Rooftop Awareness. Radio Frequency Awareness. First Aid.
