Overview
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head Procurement to join a specialist, market leading manufacturing company based in East Sussex. Head of Procurement- As a Head of Procurement you will be responsible for ensuring external relationships and are identified, developed and managed in a manner that ensures delivery of current and new customer requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring that all stages of the procurement function are fully implemented and integrated and capable of delivering data and services in line with customer expectations. You will be required to pro-active and lead from the top. As an overview of the role, please see below: Head of Procurement Responsibilities: The role of the Head of Procurement will involve: Determine and establish supply chain concept solutions within new services technologies Form part of the Supply Chain & Procurement Leadership team contributing towards the governance, structure & ethics of this department Develop direct reports through the provision of direct and actionable feedback, and creation of meaningful development plans Be responsible for ensuring that all stages of the procurement function are fully implemented and integrated and capable of delivering data and services in line with customer expectations. Manage supplier capability and expectations Develop appropriate procurement models and ensure they are executed efficiently across the business Manage contractual processes, evaluation and award of supplier bidders, development of supplier relationships and review accountability for supplier deliveries and services. Liaise with other senior members of the business to implement new processes and strategies into the business to enhance the profile of the organization Head of Procurement Requirements: 10 years’ experience within a senior level role within the supply chain function Manufacturing experience essential Experience in managing an overseas procurement strategy Hold a relevant degree relating to the supply chain/procurement field MCIPS qualified Why Should You Apply?
