Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys hands on, practical work and is comfortable operating CNC machinery. Our client is well established within the sign making sector and are looking for a Sign Maker to join their tight knit team. The Role This is a busy and varied role requiring someone who is comfortable working hands on with a range of materials and equipment. Duties will include but are not limited to: · Operating CNC machinery · Soldering and Welding of metals and electronic components · Cutting and shaping plastic, metal, acrylic and vinyl materials · Ensuring signs are finished to the highest standards · Assembling signs ready for installation · General practical bench work tasks The Ideal Candidate Ideally you will have experience within sign making or letter building and be confident in practical assembly and manufacturing tasks. You must have experience operating CNC machinery and demonstrate a positive attitude towards your work. As you will be working within a close knit team you need to be someone who enjoys building relationships with colleagues and has a proactive approach to their work; someone who is not afraid to get stuck in with a variety of tasks will get on well within this team.
