Overview
Iur client is seeking someone with a "can do" attitude who will work as part of a team with minimal supervision to deliver world class results. You will be an integral part of a team that defines and implements efficient defect free processes for new and existing product lines that are conducive with current manufacturing techniques. You will be required to: Work effectively within a cross functional team to develop and produce equipment specifications and processes in line with existing guidelines, on time and within budget. Interpret customer drawings, CAD models and specifications. Create and maintain production methods including validation of capability to original scope and final customer requirements. Provide NPI feasibility estimations and prove-out validation. Provide hands-on technical and operator training for new and existing machining processes. Work hands-on with machinists to develop new project roll-outs. Knowledge of EdgeCam, Vericut, Mazatrol, Heidenhain and Fanuc Gcode. Efficient in the use of 3D CAD systems. Eg Solidworks. Experience in fixture design. Strong problem-solving/problem-resolution skills. Demonstrate lean implementation and sustainability. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Understanding databases and the Microsoft Office suite of software. Provide technical support to customers, production cells and project teams. Experience with CAPEX justification and new equipment implementation. Define process flow for new and current projects using manufacturing system design tools and methodology.
