Overview
Harris global are currently recruiting for a Senior Solutions Architect to work for an industry leading FS organisation in central London. The successful Data Architect would have worked on high transactional enterprise systems Ideally within FS. The Group Solution Architect will be responsible for the architecture on a strategic programme within the organization and for designing and implementing IT solutions, ensuring a consistent Architectural approach, defining & creating reusable capabilities. The successful Senior Solutions Architect will undertake the following duties: Contribute to the definition, maintenance and evolution of the Architectural principles, standards and patterns in line with the Architectural Roadmap Responsible for the solutions architecture on a major new strategic programme of work within the organisation. Ensure that the solutions designed and delivered to IT estate are aligned to the Architectural Roadmap Design and implement solutions to achieve successful business outcome and aligned with Enterprise Architecture & Design principles. Will possess the following skills and experience. · As a technologist who has evolved from a strong background in hands on software development · Knowledge of distributed systems & services, messaging, object orientation, database solutions, web application development, security and open source technologies · Knowledge of design patterns and architectural concepts including microservices, low latency systems, data warehousing, APIs and cloud services · Experience as a programme architect or across a range of related domains · Deep knowledge of integration patterns & technologies and experience designing and implementing integrated, distributed systems · Good knowledge of software engineering practices including: BDD, TDD, continuous delivery and integration, full automation etc. · Experience designing resilient and high availability solutions For more information and a full JD then please apply.
