Overview
An exciting vacancy has opened for a Packaging Technologist to join a well-respected, exclusive client of ours in the Central Belt. This role will suit a professional and experienced packaging specialist with a background in the Food/Drink or FMCG industries The Role: Lead packaging development through design, develop and implement stages of NPD activity across multiple projects that achieve a balance of creative integrity, quality and cost effectiveness. Provide technical packaging expertise to the Packaging Manager from concept to commercialization. Supporting the production team regarding current and new packaging equipment and processes. The Candidate: · E xperience as a packaging technologist ideally from within the FMCG sector: Printed Flexibles, Cartons, Tins, Corrugated and Thermoformed packaging components desirable. · Excellent project management skills: methodical and organised. · Strong sense of commercial awareness. · Systems knowledge to include Microsoft packages, SAP, Adobe Illustrator and Apple OS. · Graduates welcome - provided you have packaging experience through placements/internships.
