Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer Chichester £30K Permanent Our client based in the Chichester area requires an experienced Quality Engineer. Responsibilities and Duties: Review and release all products to customer requirements (standard despatch paperwork). Together with the Senior Quality Engineer, review and release specialised products to customer requirements (non-standard despatch paperwork). Maintain Supplier Assurance records and monitor supplier performance. Internal auditing of company procedures and products in line with the Company's Quality procedures. Review purchase orders for Quality requirements and accuracy. Process internal reject reports by data entry into the system. Review document changes in relation to use, stock, orders and works orders. Maintain British/International/Customer standards. Support Inspection as required in Goods Inwards, 1st Off and In-Process Inspection and product testing. Maintain Quality records. Support the maintenance of the gauge calibration system. Deputise for the Senior Quality Engineer in his absence, and undertake any other reasonable duties associated with the post as designated by the Senior Quality Engineer. Hours of work: 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday, 8.00am. to 4.00pm Friday with one hour for lunch each day.
