12 HOUR DAYS & NIGHTS (ROTATING) PRODUCTION OPERATIVE OPPORUNITY – PERMANENT BASIS gap personnel (operating as an employment agency) are proud to be representing our client based in Dolgellau. We’re currently recruiting for 1 x Production Operative to join their team immediately on a straight permanent basis to work within their food manufacturing facility. Pay & Hours of Work Monday to Thursday (06:00 – 18:00 and 18:00 – 06:00) £8.21 per hour rising to £8.72 per hour from April 2020 with a 25% shift allowance for Night Shifts Responsibilities Working on a production line following recipe cards to mix ingredients Sampling and testing of manufactured product to ensure compliance with relevant quality specifications Carrying out all the required CIPs as directed in the relevant standard methods Maintain a clean and hygienic environment within production areas, adopting a clean-as-you-go policy Assist in the achievement of Departmental Key Performance Indicators and Objectives Requirement to remain flexible and work in a variety of different departments Accurate completion of HACCP and production documentation to ensure full traceability on site Liaising with Shift Manager and Senior Production Managers to ensure they are fully aware of any issues and key decisions Safe operation of machinery and equipment, ensuring all faults with are reported on the Engineers Service Incident log Essential Skills A willingness to learn new skills Self-motivated and able to work under own autonomy or as part of a team A positive work ethic Flexible attitude to meet constraints of the business
