Procurement & Packaging Manager

Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing are continually working with our Drinks Manufacturing client who are on the look out for a Packaging Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Whats in it for you?: Excellent salary DOE Opportunity to work with a prestigious drinks company Dayshift - 34 hour working week You will be responsible to manage the procurement of packaging materials to match customer orders and stock requirements. You will Manage the Procurement & Packaging Technologists Team in the development and delivery of the procurement process and NPD. Responsibilities: Select and approve core suppliers Manage purchased of packaging materials Negotiating pricing and commercial terms Provide quotations for packaging components Report on performance and KPI's Management of packaging material stocks Management of the development of packaging & work with bottling services on NPD Management and motivation of a busy team Completion of annual reviews Skills required: Must have management experience Experience in procurement/purchasing Must have drinks experience or Premium FMCG PC Literate Experience of MRP & SAP systems essential Good organisational and planning skills Experienced working to a continuous improvement culture Degree level qualification or equivalent experience preferred Please apply directly or contact Caroline Strachan.
