Procurement Lead - Site Operations

Project Overview Procurement at Sellafield is changing We are creating a high performing, agile supply chain function and currently have several opportunities for Procurement Lead\'s. We are looking for candidates that will drive change and constantly exceed the expectations of the business and our stakeholders. The role is based in our Facilities Management and Infrastructure category and is located near to our site in West Cumbria. The Opportunity Procurement Lead - Site Operations, West Cumbria The role will be based in the Supply Chain Directorate. The Procurement Lead role will manage a team of up to 2 Senior Buyers and 1 Buyer. With a yearly contract spend in excess of £50m the contract portfolio is aligned to supporting the operational requirements of the Site that includes key products and services that ensures the Sellafield Site can function safely and efficiently. These may include but not be limited to Logistics, Guardforce, Waste, MRO, Gases and Chemicals. The role reports directly to a Category Manager. Essential & Desirable Skills Essential Skills Experience in Procurement/Supply Management covering broad range of products, services and developing contracting strategies. Experience of leading major procurement activities covering a broad range of products and services. Demonstrable experience in; Leading a team, mentoring and effectively delegating work meeting and exceeding targets, improving performance and implementing initiatives. Ensuring that safety is a core value in the work place and that individuals are held accountable. Challenging the status quo, embracing an open and honest culture and encouraging LFE D elivering value through Category Management. Desirable Deg ree or equivalent. Professional - MCIPS or equivalent in other related disciplines Wide ranging evidence of adherence to all legislative, regulatory and company procedures and standards.
