Due to internal promotion, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced, qualified ACA / CIMA / ACCA Financial Accountant to join this business on an initial 6 month temp basis - with the very real possibility of going permanent. Core responsibilities; Manage and develop 2 Financial Accountants (qualified) Manage and develop a team of 4 Accounts Payable Provide insight and commentary to senior management team for reports prepared by this team Provide a detailed understanding of the client's balance sheet and manage balance sheet reviews process across the wider business Ensure sufficient Purchase to Pay processes and governance Review of aged creditors and aged debt balances Provide monthly payments forecasting Provide monthly net forecasting by business segment Ensure smooth running of monthly processes within the Financial Reporting team Provide Cost centre forecasting and budgeting for Executive and Finance areas Operating and reviewing a defined set of internal controls Provide cover and support for the Financial Controller Candidate Requirements Candidates MUST be a qualified ACCA / ACA / CIMA with management experience Strong Excel (pivot tables, lookup functions, data analysis) Ideally, have experience of SAP or similar ERP software (but not mandatory) Be available on no more than 2 weeks' notice - ideally immediately available Reside locally
