Overview

Operations and System Support Officer job. Assist with monitoring and maintaining, provide customer service Your new company Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council Your new role Work closely with the Operations and Performance Supervisor to provide consistent and excellent customer service to all clients. Assist with implementing improvements and system developments wherever relevant. Investigate and provide responses for any problems that occur. Assist with monitoring the ICT systems general performance and stability. Help update, modifying and monitor Tech Forge, Northgate and Kirona DRS to align all systems 'Real Time', when the system fails or following user error. Assist with reconciling all systems to ensure the Client and Contractor has accurate and consistent data. Help with asset management of devices, as prescribed by the Business & Operations Manager. Embrace new ICT applications and learn to maintain them accurately. Help produce monitoring and performance reports for all service areas from Business Objects and Info Suite, as and when required. Liaise with Helpdesk staff, the Planning Team, Trade Supervisors, Corporate ICT, Surveying Team and clients as necessary. Assist with the administrative management of all cyclical safety checks (Landlord Gas Safety Checks, Test and Inspects Photovoltaic and Smoke detector checks) ensure all certification and relevant documentation is verified and stored within the EDRMS. Help monitor the referral process to Housing Management to allow forced access procedures to be followed as and where necessary. Prepare claims on behalf of the internal contractor for cyclical servicing. Help develop processes and procedures with the Operations & Performance Supervisor. Assist with monitoring backlog, performance and housekeeping reports and co-ordinate resolving any issues that arise with the relevant section. Where necessary liaise with clients, contractors, supervisors to help progress works orders. Assist with monitoring and validating data for all emergency works and Right-to-Repairs to ensure internal and external contractors are attending within Government timescales. What you'll need to succeed You must have excellent customer service skills and experience within an administrative environment. You must be sound with IT systems and be able to pick up in-house systems.
