Overview
The Company: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Accessories Designer to join an exciting and funky company who design and manufacture various accessories including handbags, purses and scarves. The Role: Reporting to the Senior Designer. Style, trend forecasting and research. Trends analysis and creating mood boards to translate the season themes into trend presentations. Designing and drawing the new collections from concept to development. Supporting product development through drawings, sampling and briefing. Liaising with factories. Prepping specifications Skills Required: Must have at least 2 years of relevant and proven industry experience including handbags. Genuine passion for accessories and fashion design. Style and trend forecasting skills. Must have a thorough understanding of shape, graphic and print design. Proactive and problem solving. Meticulous with a keen eye for detail. Team player and enthusiastic. Exceptional organisational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritise and think ahead. Ability to work under pressure caused by seasonal concentration of activity. InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop are essential.
