Overview
24 Seven are looking for an Accessories Designer to work on a 12m contract to work inhouse with a well known fashion brand. Responsibilities Presenting ideas and concepts to Head Designer, Women’s, clients and business partners Ensuring the quality of output for all creative work produced from concept to production sealer Create highly detailed, accurate design packs, as well as technical packs, as needed by the business Adopting a ‘hands-on’ approach to concept and design to product development and finished product Being team player and role model to rest of team; fostering an inspiring and positive culture; Developing designs using sketching, illustration, by hand, digital and/or print mediums; Liaising with the Business partners (i.e. production, tech) to ensure resources are available Research and Design, Product Development & sourcing of all relevant Denim and Casual categories, contributing to other categories as needed by the business Implementing Design and Developments into PLM system Skills: Proven track record of commercial and editorial design success Ability to work quickly and comprehensively, generating a high output of creative designs in a fast-paced environment; Technical understanding of Bag and Footwear construction and innovation A great eye & ability to create Jewellery Modern Strong eye for Trend, Colour, Materials (including Leather and Non-Leather) in keeping with Creative & Brand Direction Experience with Accessories Factories – Experience with HK / China / India / Portugal / Italy factories Experience the luxury, & high street experience is beneficial. Experience hands-on Product Development of accessories, in particular Bags and Shoes Experience working with Technicians and Production
