THIS IS AN URGENT VACANCY – MY CLIENT IS COMMITED TO RECRUITING THIS ROLE EVEN THOUGH WE ARE IN DIFFICULT TIMES – WE NEED YOU NOW My client is a global distributer of prestige products – operating a 65,000 sq ft warehouse facility in Trafford Park with multiple 3 rd party storage sites. A dynamic Inventory Controller is needed to join the Distribution Team able to deliver exceptional customer services to well know retailers. It’s fast paced and demanding so you will need a high level of expertise and management control and be a hands-on team player. Their own warehouse is the main hub which is supported by an off-site bulk storage facility operated by their 3PL partner. You will be responsible for: All aspects of controlling the inventory management across the distribution centre – internal replenishment functions, shrinkage, damages and query resolution Managing your Inventory Team – efficiently and effectively Working across departments to main inventory levels to meet demand Managing the 13 week PI cycle Introduce management reporting to monitor stock for a suite of KPIs – covering date expiration, min/max stock holdings, forecast capacity and stock turn Being a superuser of the WME/ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Tasklet WMS Working closely with the warehouse to monitor space, deliveries and throughput Being a virtual manager for off-site 3PL storage partner You will have: At least 2 years in a similar role Good experience of: Navision 209-2017 Dynamics 365 & Tasklet WMS (or similar) Advanced experience of MS Office/0365 – especially Excel Strong team management and leadership skills Great attention to detail Able to take direction and feedback from multiple stakeholders Able to communicate with clarity – in person and in writing And above all be an independent thinker who is also a team player Time to take stock and move your career?
