Overview
Job Title: Senior Quality Advisor also interested in Quality Assurance Advisors. Location: Central London Salary/Benefits: £50,000 - £55,000 plus car allowance and package. Start Date: ASAP Company Information: Working on a Large Major Civil Engineering project for a Tier 1 Rail, Civils and Power Contractor worth £1.9bn To be suitable for the position you must have; -4-5 years experience in a Quality/Auditing role -A proven track record of working on large civils schemes, either within rail infrastructure., heavy civils, tunneling, earthworks, highways etc. -Member of CQI -Good knowledge and practical experience developing, implementing and improving Quality Management Systems. -Solid understanding of the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have: -Auditing Skills (Eg IRCA registered) -Worked for a Tier 1 rail & civils contractor in a similar role. Role Information; -Establish and promote best practice in quality matters in conjunction with the Quality function. -Mentor and develop staff to ensure that they understand the Quality management systems. -Carry out regular inspections/audits of sites and work places -Review Quality statistics to identify trends and areas for improvement. -Undertake internal and external audits as required. -Provide input and review of pre-qualification, tender and Quality award submissions. -Develop and implement Quality campaigns and improvement plans in agreement with the Quality Management.
