Then this is the opportunity that can turn your ambition into reality The contractor has an enviable track record in their specialisms, they are at the forefront in technology and sustainability in the industry in order to improve where people work, learn and live. A global company with a turnover of £400m in the UK. As part of their continuous improvement and strategy in servicing their clients they are expanding their offering's in the Fit-out sector, including; Commercial Cat A / B, Technology and Retail. Long term they will be looking at a division that manages projects to £10m, but in the short term to establish the team by delivering projects around £1m. The projects will be a mix of Traditional and Design & Build. This is a key role and will evolve over time through growth / success and will lead to a senior position managing a strategic team / division. Through working in partnership with other divisions, opportunities have already been identified, it just requires the right person who has the ability to convert these into live projects though their experience, ability and enthusiasm. The person You will have a considerable amount of experience in the management of multiple projects at a corporate level to ensure that the company becomes a partner of choice when tendering on specific projects and frameworks. You will be a leader, a mentor, highly motivated, be very client focused, able to build long standing relationships (to optimise future opportunities and profitability) and have the experience / knowledge and knows what it takes to identify what is required to develop a division / team. You will initially be very hands on and will be involved with all aspects of a running and securing a project, including; Tendering / Estimating / Supply Chain / Site - Project Management / Commercial Management / Appointment of Team / Health & Safety / adhering to Environmental Policy / Quality Assurance / Procurement. As the division grows, your level of responsibility will change, and you will be able to adapt and oversee the above at a strategic level. The role and responsibilities You will be responsible of the Commercial Management and Project Management of projects, ensuring projects are delivered to agreed timescales and to budget. Importantly to the client's satisfaction. Be able to engage and appoint a Supply Chain (Trusted Partners) of relevant sub-contractors from Ceilings / Partitioning / Joinery / Flooring / Lighting / Fixtures and Furnishings and importantly the Design Element of projects. Be involved / oversee the Bid and Tender stages Recruitment of project delivery teams and support personnel Able to resolve technical, operational and contractual issues and /or disputes A further Job Description will be provided Why should you be interested?
