Weaver Vale Housing Trust has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Head of HR & Organisational Development to join the Senior Management Team based in Northwich . You will work on afull time, permanent basis and you will receive a highly competitive salary of c irca £65,000 per annum. The Head of HR & Organisational Development Role: You will report to the Director of Finance and Business Services, work closely with our Chief Executive Officer and play a key role to influence and shape the culture of the Trust. This will ensure we remain a great place to work and help us to deliver high quality, cost-effective services to make us “fit for the future”. You will take responsibility for the Trust’s “Our People” Strategy, encompassing all aspects of HR & organisational development. This includes leading on the Trust’s employee engagement plan and helping us to achieve our aim of becoming a 3-Star Best Companies employer. Responsibilities of our Head of HR & Organisational Development include: - Influence and shape the culture, ensuring the Trust remains a great place to work. - Support the business through change, building relationships at all levels, providing advice and support on the impact of agreed proposals. - Lead on workforce planning, to ensure that staffing levels meet the needs of the business and provide guidance on succession planning and talent management. - Lead on the delivery of the Trust’s employee engagement plan to meet our aim of becoming a 3-star Best Companies employer. - Lead on colleague health and wellbeing. - Manage the Trust’s Reward Strategy to ensure that our remuneration practice is externally competitive, internally equitable and affordable. - Manage the Trust’s Employee Relations framework to ensure our relationship with colleagues and our trade union partners is perceived as fair, mutually effective and commercially viable. - To be the lead on Equality and Diversity, responsible for shaping and delivering a framework to improve all aspects of this area. - Manage the HR & OD Team to ensure the delivery of quality services across the full range of HR and Organisational Development functions. The services need to be continually evolving and improving. - Responsible for all HR and OD policies, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory compliance. - Coach and enable the team to maximise performance, supporting the learning and development of team members. - Oversee the effective use of HR Systems, providing key data to manage day to day activity and to make/inform key business decisions. - Manage the delivery of the Trust’s training and development activities, to ensure that the Trust’s colleagues have the knowledge, skills and capabilities to deliver our strategic objectives.
