Senior Legal Cashier - Contract 12-month FTC - Holborn Amazing opportunity to join a global law firm in their London finance team as their senior Legal Cashier, on a 12-month FTC. This role is the senior lead within the team of 7 cashiers and will be supporting the team with any questions they may have. The ideal candidate will have team leader experience, and strong knowledge of both Office and Client accounts. Please note: this role doesn't require management experience as it won't be a managerial role, however, will eb a supportive role to the more junior members of the team. Responsibilities: Processing CHAPS/BACS receipts and payments to the firms' client accounts including input Review and check of the posting batches prepared by the other Cashiers team Ensure compliance with SRA Accounts Rules and the firm's AML procedures Review of client bank reconciliations to include the investigation and resolution of outstanding items Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation folder for review Preparation of bank reconciliations as cover for other cashiers Examination and speedy return of client residual balances Provide cover and support for the London based Office Cashiers Assist the Senior Finance Operations Manager with annual SRA Audit process Liaising with auditors and providing information as and when required Strong SRA knowledge is essential so please only apply if you have strong legal cashiering experience .
