Overview

About the Role The Expense Specialist position is a support role within the AP/T&E Shared Service Center that reports to the EMEA AP Supervisor. The Expenses Specialist is responsible for all aspects of T&E as well supporting other administrative functions within the department. Key Responsibilities Audit expenses claims on our expense system Chrome River for all employees across the EMEA region making sure that the expense claim is accurately recorded based on the supporting documentation provided, and is in line with the company expenses policy Dealing with employee queries and ensuring that they are resolved efficiently and professionally Review the duplicate expense report and investigate if the duplicate entry is a legitimate expense claim Preparing multicurrency payments runs on a regular basis using various banking platforms (mainly RBS/ NatWest & HSBC) Process Salary deductions (season ticket loans, cycle to work scheme & taxis) Maintaining and issuing company credit cards where applicable Other ad hoc duties as required Experience Required Significant years T&E experience Experience working within a high volume transaction environment Experience working in multi-currency environment Experience of working in a professional services environment Experience working within an EMEA focused finance function Experience of using an automated front end Accounts Payable approval application (e.g. Chrome River, Concur, SAP, Oracle or other similar ERP applications) Understanding of VAT and applicability to accounts payable transactions Skills Required Ability to interact with business experts in a professional, timely and courteous manner Ability to interact with external suppliers in a professional, timely and courteous manner Knowledge of Chrome River and/or Elite Enterprise Proficient in Excel Energetic, self-driven and able to prioritise workload without consistent direction Quick learner Open team player who is able to take on a variety of responsibilities An effective communicator - both oral and written Strong attention to detail is essential Our Benefits Apart from the well-structured career path and excellent team environment, our employees enjoy a variety of perks and benefits.
