Overview
Management of the finance team responsible for the preparation and maintenance of accurate accounting ledgers for six syndicates and a direct re/insurance company with five branches across Europe, providing analysis and information to the Regulatory and Group Reporting Teams and preparing the annual financial statements. Managing a team of 8 accountants. Management of the finance team responsible for the preparation and maintenance of accurate accounting ledgers for six syndicates and a direct re/insurance company with five branches across Europe, providing analysis and information to the Regulatory and Group Reporting Teams and preparing the annual financial statements. Managing a team of 8 accountants. Other Liaise with underwriters, actuaries, auditors, senior management and/or 3rd parties as appropriate. Contribute to ongoing development of the group reporting and data management system (FDM) working directly with the IT teams to improve finance processes. Assess the impact to finance for changes proposed as the business continues to grow. Other projects as required.
