Overview
CNC Setter and Operator - Monday to Friday Day-Time Hours We are recruiting for a CNC Machine Setter to join a growing team based in Paddock Wood. This is a full time, permanent position. As well as joining a friendly and progressive team you'll enjoy 'day-time' hours and Monday to Friday working. You will be integral in the team that manufacture high precision products so it is essential you have a great attention to detail and are able to work to high quality standards. It is essential you have previous experience in setting and operating CNC Lathe or Mill; previous programming experience is desirable. Key Skills: Able to read and understand manufacturing drawings including tolerances and program directly on machine. Able to set tooling and operate CNC lathe machine, working to tight tolerances. Be able to design and produce jigs and tool holding for the subsequent manufacture of components. Desirable Experience: The ability to provide suggestions to improve productivity. Experience in working in a lean manufacturing environment desirable. There is the opportunity for this role to take on broader supervisory responsibilities.
