Overview
A global tier 1 investment bank is looking for a Regulatory Reporting Consultant to join their international controller’s team at one of their London based offices. The candidate should be a qualified accountant, with around 2-5 years of qualified experience, excellent experience with regulatory reporting and a desire to handle high profile projects. THE JOB Specifically your responsibilities will include: Implement and act upon latest changes within applicable regulations Ensure adequate coverage at the Interpretations Committee Manage stakeholder communications throughout all changes and updates Assist in the modelling and quantified changes via technology Build relationships with other areas of the bank (IT, financial control etc.) to ensure all actions are compliant and correct Stress-testing on all system improvements and changes Continually review the control environment and enhance wherever possible YOU To be considered for this job, you will have the following experience: Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with 2-5 years of PQE Have relevant regulatory experience within financial services (COREP and Liquidity Returns) Exposure to FCA and European regulatory reporting, with US regulatory reporting also being highly desirable Experience with FRS and/or STB desirable Excellent academic & degree background Broad and strong product knowledge Excellent Excel abilities Self-motivated and ambitious for a career as an accounting professional within FS Competent at manipulating large sets of data and using Excel Works well within a team, has good communication skills/soft skills, adaptable and quick to learn This opportunity offers a fantastic package and internal progression, with a great level of responsibilities.
