Engineering Supply Manager
Overview
The Opportunity An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Mechanical Engineer to work across the Engineering projects to co-ordinate the most effective communications and processes between ISP-S Mechanical and Mechanical Engineering. Working for ISP-S Mechanical co-ordinating improvement activities early in the Mechanical Engineering IRAD and development projects and to provide ME intelligence of cost, lead time, risk and opportunity across the various procurement categories. You will be a self-motivated, curious and a very open communicator who really enjoys joining the dots and making a difference. What are we looking for? Ideally a degree qualified Mechanical Engineering graduate with substantial relevant experience Experience of working within a Mechanical Engineering environment within the Defence or Aerospace industry Good knowledge of Product Lifecycle and design process within engineering Excellent communication style Good understanding of Procurement and Supply Chain processes Ideally with a good knowledge of the Engineering organisation, teams and skills Understanding of risk management and continuous improvement tools What’s in it for you?
