Overview
XPRESSION is a well established award winning and expanding company who have recently celebrated their thirteenth anniversary. Operating with three specialised divisions, this is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced and professional driver to join our logistics team. This position will commence on ASAP. main responsibilities: to comply with all relevant and current legislation and procedures ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues safe, courteous and professional driving standards at all times including cleanliness of vehicle at all times to be responsible for the security of the vehicle and load at all times manage and comply with all WTD, tachograph and O' licence procedures as issued by the Company and/ or DVSA LGV C vehicle (DAF) from Xpression throughout Oxfordshire five days per week (M-F). An occasional Saturday morning will be required on a rota basis.Expected hours to be no more than fifty per week - 07.00hrs - 17.00hrs per night, however, flexibility will be required. you will be required to assist in loading & off-loading your vehicle upon return to Xpression skills required: LGV C licence with no more than six points minimum twelve months C experience on a curtain-side operation experience of maintaining high standards on vehicle and trailer good numeracy and conversational English language excellent communication skills and team player with a "can-do" attitude good customer focus experience on WTD/ CPC/ H&S procedures must have own reliable transport to be used for commuting to Xpression ideally you will hold an FLT licence rewards: all relevant PPE equipment and uniform provided 25 days annual leave plus all Public Holidays good competitive salary based upon hourly rate Auto-Enrolment pension scheme other benefits include "ride to work scheme"/ regular company activities/ H&S training Professional driver training courses offered by OEM's NO AGENCIES PLEASE: Please email your CV and covering letter, including your existing salary and expectations to the logistics team.
