Overview

Senior Software Engineer - Python / Test Automation Based in Cambridge, this is an exciting opportunity to join a new and innovative start up with a company that is developing digital security through Quantum Physics. The company are developing ground-breaking technology and as part of their growth, they are looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to join their team. The Senior Software Engineer will be working on the development of a disruptive technology that will revolutionise digital security. Specific responsibilities will include developing software programmes in Python to control equipment and automate measurements. The role will also include writing drivers and creating software to control these devices. The successful candidate will have a good relevant degree with a strong background in developing Python for Automation and Test & Measurement, along with: Proven commercial experience in software development, with an interest in mentoring or team leadership Python is key, however MATLAB and LabVIEW are also of interest Previous experience working in one of following or related industries: Quantum Technologies, Photonics, Optical Communications, Instrumentation, Cyber Security or Encryption, Please get in touch for more information on this exciting new opportunity.
