This position is actively being recruited for with an immediate start date available with a comprehensive virtual training programme from home for the foreseeable Job Title - Assistant Category Planner Location- Borehamwood Head office - Working from home initially Hours - Monday to Friday - 9am to 5.30pm Salary- £25,000 to £28,000 Must haves: Ideally have 6 months’ supply chain experience, our client will consider recent supply chain or manufacturing graduates, seeking confident career minded individuals with excellent decision-making skills and an ability to work under pressure This is a role where you will be responsible for assisting the supply chain planning activities associated with product supply to market. Our client is providing an extensive training programme from home with excellent resources available, and we want to hear from people seeking a career within the supply chain/manufacturing industry. Duties will be: Support the development of accurate capacity statements covering the full planning for the next 36 months Assist in the construction of the Monthly, weekly & daily manufacturing plans for each department Highlight to the category planners any imbalances in supply & demand (budget and forecast) and help to develop planning solutions / scenarios to be agreed through the S&OP process Support the daily and weekly planning meetings to ensure production execution is tracking to agreed plan Ensure plans are accurately reflected in the ERP system to support system schedules and planning Assist in the preparation of the inputs to the S&OP Meetings Member of the Group ERP continuous improvement team and responsible for data accuracy related to allocated products. To be considered for this role you must- Ideally have 6 months’ supply chain experience or a recent Excellent data analysis Excellent communication skills Advanced excel Ability to make decisions under pressure Team player Flexible - Able to adapt to change Ability to understand complex situations and translate a simple message to their audience Able to organise and prioritise; demonstrates logical analysis and problem-solving skills
