Overview
Morgan Hunt are currently partnering with an established Mid-Tier Accountancy Practice based in Central London who is seeking for a Management Accountant. You will work in a modern office with a buzzing environment managing a portfolio of media, music and entertainment clients. The firm will offer you a great work life balance with core hours 10am-4pm and the possibility to work from home 1 day a week. This role would suit someone with strong Management Account, Bookkeeping and VAT knowledge. Management Accountant duties: Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts Reviewing work of junior staff members Liaising with Outsourcing Teams and reviewing their work Undertaking bookkeeping for a variety of clients; inputting data and processing payments as required Maintaining the sales, purchase and general ledgers for a variety of clients Posting month end journals Meeting deadlines and time budgets Completing VAT returns for allocated clients Assisting with year end procedures and liaising with client auditors Travelling to and working from client site if required About the Management Accountant: AAT / ACCA qualified or other relevant qualification Currently working in Practice Excellent bookkeeping and management accounts skills Extensive experience in using Sage, Xero and Quickbooks would be beneficial Ability to manage time to meet deadlines If you feel ready for a new challenge or a similar role within a well-established Accountancy Practice firm based in Central London do not hesitate to get in contact me to discuss the Management Accountant position in more detail.
